Black History program, dinner
The Deaconess of First Baptist in Washington will sponsor their third Black History Month Service on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 4 p.m. Their guests will be Rev. Frank Lewis and the Mass Choir of Antioch, Madison and vicinity. The service will feature youth in the community who will provide biographies on famous Black Americans. Dinner will be served beginning at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Dr. Wendell R. Grant is Pastor and Nan Butler-Roberts is President, Deaconess. “Join us in this celebration,” said a spokesperson.
