The final estimates are in from Richmond and the proposed $3,871,698-' school budget for 1988-89 has been forwarded to the County Board of Supervisors. It anticipates $1,334,007 in state funds, a 16.7 percent increase over this year, and calls for $1,940,360 in local funds, a 12 percent increase. The PTA nomination committee present-, ed the recommendations for next year’s officers at March’s monthly RCES PTA meeting. Nominations were: President, Sherry Brightbill; vice president, Deborah Flinchum; secretary, Aney Massie; treasurer, Marsha Thompson. Nominations for Camille Harris and Mary Jane Swift for president and treasurer, respectively, were accepted from the floor. _ .
