The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a dance at the new fire hall there on Saturday, April 6, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The Thornton River (North Fork) and Piney Branch near Sperryville were stocked with 2,400 rainbow and brook trout Monday afternoon. Trout season opens at noon, Saturday, April 6. The faculty of Rappahannock County High School was honored with a special day of appreciation by the students on Friday, March 22. Amy Palmer, a 4-H Club member, was the winning contestant of the Dress Revue held in connection with the 4-H Demonstration Day recently, She will be eligible to compete in the contest which will be held in Madison next month. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.B.
