as an extra-curricular part of the “middle school” concept at RCES, the Panther Players troupe includes 26 talented students in both stage and behind-the-scenes roles. Most appear as cast members in this, their third production.
English teacher Joanne Tracy cosponsors the show with Short. Art teacher Harriette Rosenblatt’s classes and parent-volunteers created props and scenery. Though funding for the drama club is not part of the school budget, the administration provided money for critical items, including royalties, scripts, and supplies. Donations collected the night of the show will help fund future productions.
