Dance at Amissville
A dance will be held at Amissville Volunteer Fire Hall on Saturday, April 18. Music will be by Thunder Road. Proper dress attire is required.
Miss Rappahannock pageant set
The annual Miss Rappahannock pageant sponsored by the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad will be held on April 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Rappahannock County High School. Registration will be held Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m. and rehearsal will be at 6:30 p.m. The pageant will be open to all single females ages two to 19 and boys, ages two to six. There will be a mother/daughter, sister's and grandmother’s category. Sponsor fee for each contestant will be $20. Pageant admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children.
