The next meeting for the Amissville Homemakers will be held on Monday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Amissville Baptist Church. Mildred Atkins will be demonstrating the decorating of a grape vine wreath. Members should bring with them an 18” wreath, four yards of ribbon and any other items they may wish to use in decorating the wreath.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul Asciolla who is recovering from recent surgery. Paul is also wished happy belated birthday greetings from his friends and family. Get well soon, Paul!

I was sorry to hear of the passing of John Hill of Culpeper. Mr. Hill was a businessman in the community for many years.
On Thursday, March 26 Donald and Valerie Jones entertained Ruth Penn, Marjory Zenger and Ellie of Alexandria along with Courtney Lee Jones Poland and children, Crockett Morgan and Forrest Hali from Midland. They had a nice family visit, ate lunch, and played games in the afternoon.
The Amissville United Methodist Church will host its annual Easter Egg on Saturday April 11 at 2 p.m. Children should bring a basket or container to put their eggs in. A small program is held in the sanctuary while the eggs are hidden The ladies of the church always make this a special event for our children and it is so much fun to watch the kids scatter for the hunt! Everyone is welcome to participate.
