and then managing the whole affair. Friday night, heaven only knows what time she finally went home because there certainly wasn’t another person there to see her, and she was back working at 5:30 Saturday morning.
Thank you, too, to the elementary school for the use of the cafeteria and to the janitorial staff for their assistance. Pat Jenkins, Shirley Frye and Juanita Atkins treated their Saturday like any other work day at the school and were ably assisted by Wanda Jenkins and Nancy Crawford in organizing and over-seeing the preparation of the excellent food.
The newly formed Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary showed up in full force and worked hours without a break.
