Joseph Peregory and his father attended the S.P.C.A. mix breed dog contest in Winchester recently. Joseph entered his beagle, Jack Russell Terry dog and won first place in his category, coming home with the blue ribbon.
The Reva Volunteer Fire and Rescue provides services to their surrounding area and volunteer help is needed as they work on their new fire and rescue station, so please come by on weekends and lend a hand.
Belated birthday wishes go out to Kevin Grigsby whose day was Wednesday.
Our condolences are extended to the family of Carrie Settle of Boston-Reva route, who passed away Friday at Culpeper Memorial Hospital and to the Wood family upon the passing, also on Friday of Mrs. Julia Wood, a Boston native and Woodville resident.
Revival services which are in progress this week at Massanova Church will continue throughout the week.
Prayers are continuing for the recovery for Mrs. Verna Frazier who returned home Saturday, following surgery at Culpeper Memorial Hospital and a stay in the Culpeper Health Care Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Steven Clinedinst and son Andrew spent the weekend with Rev. and Mrs. Harry Miller in St. Louisville, Ohio.
Those Rappahannock High School students who did so well and made the honor roll for the past grading period include Crystal Mills, Elaine and Lauren Thornhill, Braden and Matthew Wolfe and Joshua Waddell. A hearty congratulations to all of you, keep up the good work. We apologize if anyone was left out.
