This past weekend, Ms. Lauren Herbert had her 13th birthday. Lauren’s parents, Michelle and John, were very brave. They had 25 teenagers there and 13 stayed the night! They had a bonfire at dark and everyone had a great time. I had to look for Michelle on Sunday to see if ■ they survived, and they did.

Evan and Dylan also had their birthday party on Saturday. We had 12 little ones and 19 adults. Thank goodness wbhad one and half adult to every child. 'It' was a beautiful day and we had rented a moon bounce. I’m glad it only comes oncea year. Whoever said having two at a tiihe was easy, is crazy. A little advice, read the party horn package carefully before yoti buy them, the ones I got made noise." Thank goodness we were outside and the Tylenol was handy!

A couple more birthdays for this month: Marty Hitt, Heather Favara,’ JoDale Tornatore, and Mrs. Thelma Colvin celebrated her 80th birthday. Family and friends had a party for her on Nov. 6 at the Amissville Fire Hall.

Well, that’s all for this week. Next" week maybe I will try to give some adviceabout cooking your turkey (not). !
