If you or your children are being home-sch^' led or attend any of our local private schools, this program is open to all of you and we invite your participation. We just ask that you call ahead so that we can make additional seating arrangements, if necessary.
• RCES P.E. Tbacher, Ms. Carol Nowakoski, hosted the first Golden ' Shoe Awards assembly for this year on Tuesday, Nov. 9 for grades three-seven. The award is given to any home room class in those grades with at least 60 percent of the students getting a passing time for running a mile. Volunteer parent, Mr. Ron Makela, helped to make these special blue and gold awards to recognize outstanding achievement in our running program.
The winners this time are: sixth grade, Mrs. Pud Maeyer’s and Mrs. Lilo Wolfe’s classes. Fifth grade: Mrs. Eva Atkins’ and Mrs. Molly Bailey’s classes. Fourth grade: Mrs. Amy Saxton’s and Mrs. Linda Way’s classes. Third grade: Mrs. Holly Propst’s, Mrs. Shelly Shankle’s and Ms. Beth Tillinghast’s classes. Third grade had the highest pass rate of all the classes! Mrs. Shankle had the highest pass rate of all the home rooms! Congratulations to everyone.
