RCHS Principal, Mr.' Jack Haines, has been very pleased with the > progress made by algebra students andteachers in 1 the Math Department at the high school; Students attend algebra class Monday through Friday from 8:15-9:45, for. intensive, positive instruction, and the effort' is paying off. Students feel more confident and their sue-; cess rate is increasing. /
In order for this program to continue to improve we need Volunteer Tutors to visit, classes to assist with one-on-; one instruction. Bragg, a Financial Aid Representative from Shenandoah University. She will be going over the FAFSA form and will answer your! questions concerning financial aid. !

• Mrs. Frieda HermaiJ, RCHS Math teacher, repotts that students Jeff Simeon and Colin Treanor are participating in the National Youjig Leaders Conference this year. I will keep you informed as more information surfaces. Congratulations to both of these motivated students bn being selected for this wonderful opportunity.
• Mr. Darrow Kirkpatrick, an incredibly generous volunteer in our community, spends his time helping many of our RCHS students to achiewe their highest potential. He Js presently coaching several students as they work toward their Eagle Scout Awards in Boy Scouts, and he is helping at least one student in hjs efforts toward acceptance at the United States Naval Academy. Mr. Kirkpatrick arid his wife Jeanie are constantly striving to assist youth in our area and we appreciate thefr efforts tremendously.
