The following news should have appeared in last week’s issue of the paper, however, it arrived too late to be included.

Mrs.Betty Klise and Mrs. Linnie Cummings returned to their home last Thursday after spending a few days visiting family and friends in Portsmouth and Suffolk.

The Flint Hill Administrative Board met at the church on Thursday Nov. 11.

Elizabeth Welch with Vivian Hackney and Joy Heddleston went ice skating in Fredericksburg on Sunday, Nov. 7 with the Washington Baptist Church Youth group. The girls were accompanied by Elizabeth’s dad, Bill Welch. They later went to Chuckie Cheese there.

Mrs. Edna Lillard spent last weekend in Fredericksburg visiting Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hawkins and Mrs. Edith Graves.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church has worship service each Sunday at 8:45 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public.

The annual conference of the Willis Chapel, Flint Hill and Sperryville United Methodist Churches was held on Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Willis Chapel Church.
