Catherine Atkins Brown, 92, of Sperryville died Tuesday, Nov. 9 at Warrenton Overlook Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Aug. 28, 1907 in Beahm, Va. to the late George W. Atkins and Anita B. Atkins.

Mrs. Brown was a retired cafeteria manager of Sperryville Elementary School She was also a life long member of Sperryville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Jane E. Overhulser of Palm Harbor, Fla., Barbara B. Payne of Warrenton and Shirley B. Kushner of Montgomery Village, Md. and four sons, Charles Atkins of Luray, Strother T. Brown Jr. of Sperryville, Benjamin F. Brown of Winchester and Julian S. Brown of Lake of the Woods.
