Washington Home, where she became secretary to the board and assistant to the chief executive. She retired in 1997.
Mrs. Anderson also raised cattle at Wadefield, her farm in Washington, Va. and she owned and operated the Double R Ranch in Texas.
She was a member of the Junior League of Washington, the Washington Antique Show and the Washington Club, where she served on the board of directors. She also was a member of the Sulgrave Club, the Congressional Country Club, the Fauquier Springs Country Club, the Colonel James McCall chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Rappahannock Hunt Club and the Texas State Society.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, William Wallace Anderson V of Bethesda.

Clifford Wilson Jenkins, 81, of Rixeyville, formerly of Fauquier County died Friday, Nov. 12 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Martinsburg, West. Va.
Mr. Jenkins was bom June 18, 1918 in Rappahannock County, a son of the late Denton M. and Susie Frazier Jenkins.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Infantry from 19411945. He was a lifelong automobile mechanic working at the former Arrington Motor Sales in Warrenton until his retirement after 32 years of service.
