The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department got a new 2002 Freightlinner with a 3,000 gallon poly tank last week. It is equipped with a foam pro system, which has a 50 gallon tank inside the 3,000 gallon tank. The department will use it as a pumper/tanker combination. They are replacing the present engine and tanker with this new piece of equipment. The cost of this truck is approximately $250,000 which does not include hose, fans and other necessary equipment.
