Kevin Day of Eileen M. Day Realtors was awarded Realtor of the Year, the Piedmont Association of Realtors’ most prestigious and coveted award recently. Mr. Day accepted the honor at the awards banquet that was held March 20 at the Lakeside Clubhouse in Culpeper.
Featured in a photo were Dr. Brooke Miller and Jimmy Swindler, who traveled to Manhattan last week to watch the University of Virginia men’s basketball team win the National Invitational Tournament championship over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Both Rappahannock County men are University of Virginia alumnus.
Hundreds of Bed and Breakfasts across America participated in an unique award program to identity the overall best destinations for an overnight stay. Caledonia Farm near Flint Hill was selected as the only B&B in Virginia and one of only 23 nationwide to receive “four ovations” designating it as “exceptional” and “significantly exceeding requirements in physical and operational categories.” Caledonia Farm’s host, Phil Irwin, was delighted with the national recognition.
