his week Headwaters, the County’s Public
Education Foundation, requested that we provide
them with space to present a series of three articles on the public school system and of course we are Tiappy to focus on one of the topics that should be near and dear to the heart of every Rappahannock resident.
It's budget time again in Rappahannock and there are always reoccurring questions concerning the need; ed finances. We are at a crossroads in Rappahannock where there are certain things our schools need, our , children deserve and our teachers deserve.
As parents we want only the best for our children. In front of RCHS quite often the kiosk will read: Excellence in Education and that says it all. No one is fond of paying taxes but when a child excels, when ; parents are proud, when teachers and school administrators are excited — our mission is underway. Think hard about the current issues before the county and we encourage residents to call their supervisors and school board members with suggestions.
We also encourage citizens to read the Headwaters article on A-3 this week and make sure to follow the series for the next two weeks. It's an exciting time in Rappahannock in the field of education and we can all Jae a part of the excitement.
