Wakefield Country Day School, are eagerly looking forward to this year’s Annual Auction to be held at Fauquier Springs Country Club this Saturday, April 13 at 6 p.m. Under the capable hands of Mrs. Kathie Russo and Mrs. Joyce Hunt, the evening promises to be great fun. A silent auction begins the evening, followed by an elegant dinner, then it’s noholds-barred, as guests start the bidding war for the special baskets and goodies put together by the classes (and their parents! ) at WCDS. As in previous years, Mr. Vargo has promised a Uniform-free Day to the class whose basket brings in the most money. Competition is fierce, but friendly, as guests try to out-bid each other.
