Ann Boyd Britto, 76. of Warrenton died on Saturday, March 30 at Fauquier Hospital.
She was born on Aug. ,27, 1925 in Washington, D.C.v a daughter of the late Boyd Maxwell Brosius and Ann Clair Brosius.
Mrs. Britto was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Warrenton. For many years she operated her parent's restaurant in Washington, DC.
Upon her moving to Warrenton, she taught at St. John’s Catholic School for many years and was a girl scout leader in the community for over 25 years. She then worked at the Fauquier Hospital from 1984 to 1992.as an EKG technician.
Since her retirement she has enjoyed volunteer worlCat C. Hunter Ritchie Elementary School at New Baltimore.
Survivors include her husband, John G. Britto of Warrenton; three daughters, Ann Clair Lekander of Sperryville, Lois Sutphin of Warrenton and Susan Oliriger of Warrenton; a son, John B. Britto of Warrenton; one sister, Lois Fogarty of Atlanta., Ga.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, April 3 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Bazan officiating.
Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
