mates. Johnson finished the night 3 for 4 at the plate with 3 RBI's; Sharp was perfect at 3 for 3; sophomore Brandy Early was 2 for 2 and speedster Ryisha Cook drilled a line shot single into left field that got by the outfielder, giving the sophomore Panther a chance to “turn on the jets” and race all the way around the bases and score on the miscue.

The junior varsity traveled to Manassas Park the same night and handed their JV team a lop-sided 31 to 0 defeat. Sophomore Brittany Thornhill stopped the Park JV squad cold by allowing no hits and striking out 11 over the five-inning contest. The win keeps the JV undefeated at 2 and 0 in district play.
