In-orchard meeting set
The Rappahannock Extension Office invites the public to attend a series of in-orchard meetings scheduled from April through August. These meetings will be held in orchards located in Rappahannock and Madison. On April 17 the meeting will be held at Graves Mountain Farm, Syria. Those interested should meet at the orchard at 11 a.m. for a tour, followed by discussions. Bring a bagged lunch, drinks will be furnished, meeting should ac^oum at 1 p.m. For information call Kenner Love at the Extension Office, 675-3619.
Ragged Mountain activities set

Saturday, April 13, second Saturday hike to White Oak Canyon, meet at Mountainside Market between 8 and 8:30 a m.: Sunday, April 14, Fodderstack Road trash clean-up. meet at Horseshoe Hollow Farm Road at 2 p.m. Bags provided, bnng gloves and grubby clothes; Wednesday, Apnl 17, hike-run to Sam's Ridge and Hazel Mountain Trail Loop, meet at Mountainside Market between 3:30 and 4 p.m.: Sunday, April 21, Earth Day dean-up of Rappahannock County Park, 2 p.m. until dark, potluck supper/cookout. Frisbee, tennis, volleyball, basketball, etc., musipians welcome; Wednesday, April 24, moonlight hike-run of Old Rag; Saturday, April 27, moonlight hike of Old Rag Mountain.
