Benefit softball tournament set

Adult teams are wanted for a softball tournament to be held on April 20 and 21 to benefit the family of Edward King of AmissviHe. Mr. King is remembered for his love of the game and for hosting tournaments and leagues for well over 20 years at the old ‘Warriors’ field. People are needed to work on the field also! AACA to meet Thursday

AmissviHe Area Community Association will meet on Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at the AmissviHe United Methodist Church on Lee Highway. It will feature the presentation. The Civil War on the Sunrise Side of Rappahannock" discussing war time events from 1862-1864 in the AmissviHe area. A general business meeting will follow with discussion of an area information kiosk, landscaping of the new welcome signs and printing of an AmissviHe bumper banner.
