Cougars. Young Jason Jenkins had another quality start and handcuffed the Cougar bats with eight strikeouts and two hits over the seven innings. Teammate and fellow eighthgrader, Alex Sharp had the big hit of the day, a two run single that gave Jenkins all the offensive support he would need on the way to a 5 to 1 Panther win.
Freshman second baseman Ben Hahn came up with the defensive gem of the day for the second game in a row. This time it was a diving stab of a line drive between him and first base that prevented a Manassas Park rally. The win keeps the JV team undefeated in district play with a 2 and 0 record.
