Public Education is one America’s great institutions. Public Schools provide every child in the United States with opportunities to learn and become intelligent, productive members of society. Through the years the Rappahannock County Schools have successfully provided these opportunities for many thousands of students.
Almost 70 percent of the cost of Rappahannock County Public Schools is paid for by local prop; erty taxes. Our schools are the largest expense in the countybudget and as such they have a major impact on our property taxes.
