Thine Wireless had filed an application to build a tower, the telecom tower, here on Stillhouse Road in Boston. It was to have been erected on privately owned land and to be 199 feet tall.
When the Planning Commission met last month they recommended denial of the request, basing their reasons on nearness to houses, hot enough tree cover and also a private driveway would be needed. Many landowners spoke against the tower.
