Scouts Andrew Kohler, Josh Makela and Forrest Marguisse were presented with First Class Rank. At this level a scout is very comfortable living outdoors, has practiced basic first aid skills, and has learned to live the Scout Oath and Law. He has made helping others a part of his everyday life.
Dorian Matthews was awarded the rank of Star Scout. In addition to the knowledge required, Dorian has begun the process of giving back to scouting and his community by developing his teaching and leadership skills.
On the path to Eagle rank, a scout earns a combination of required and elective merit badges. Scouts Simon Berry, Buster Brow n, Andrew Kohler and Daniel Pierson earned the Camping Merit Badge. Andrew Kohler also earned his Geology and Snow Sports Merit Badges since the last Court of Honor.
The awards ceremony was followed by a pot luck dinner and social hour enjoyed by all Troop 36 scouts and their families.
