What a cold morning to ■start the season!! The U10 ^Rappahannock” Dragons,” ^coached by Camille Racer, startled the season with an effort ‘that will remind us all what the ;sport is all about. The score was iwithin one point for the majority of the game. Austin Burnett |was able to hold off Culpepers’ ■shots on goal for the first half land in the second half was able ]to put one in himself as a forward. Jacob Racer made a clean ,'shot on a direct kick and tied •the score 2-2. Culpeper rallied land put in 2 more for a 2 goal Jlead. Johnny Sullivan showed •an incredible amount of energy •out there, beating his opponent yo the ball and assisting the forward line to get the ball in Shooting range. The final score Jv^s 5-4 Culpeper. *;« The U-10 girls, the Rapp Jtiurricanes, were astonishing
their first game of the season, djeating Culpeper 4-0. All our practices paid dividends in this •game as the girls kept their -space, passed and shot goals. ' The three forwards attacked ; together with multiple shots < coming off passes and rebounds. iThe midfielders moved up in • support, keeping the ball in /Culpeper’s end and the full• backs denied whatever got past • the midfielders.
