Admissions
In spite of stem looks from the administration, students slowly trickled their way back to school this week, as Spring Break 2002 ended. Showing oft pictures and suntans, teachers and students alike enjoyed the break and attempted to settle in and buckle down for the last grading period of school year 2001-2002. Wow! Where has the year gone?
• WCDS’ Spring Open House drew many interested families in March, as families in the area start looking for education options for next year. With the Primary School at near capacity, only a few spots are still available in the PreSchool Program. Children who wish to enter Pre-School must meet the age guidelines of being three years old by May 1 of this year for next year’s class. Spaces are still open in several other grades, but parents who might be considering Wakefield Country Day School for their child should contact Mrs. Leser at (540) 635-8555, extension 22, as soon as possible for placement testing.
