Contestants sought
The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department is currently seeking contestants for their annual fire queen. Interested girls up to age 21 should contact Joyce Lillard at 987-8952. The carnival will be held June 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Representative
to visit Town
Mrs. Donna Crowley, a representative of Congressman Frank Wolf, will visit the town of Washington on Thursday, May 16 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Extension Office.
Mrs. Crowley will be available to talk with constituents who need assistance or have problems of a Federal nature, such as with the Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, etc.
