Emory Sanford Conners, 77, of Woodville died on Thursday, May 9 at his residence.
He was bom Dec. 30.1924 in Hainesville, Va. to the late Fuller Conners and Lelia Conners.
He was raised in Woodville from the age of nine by Dr. Gideon Brown and Cora Brown.
Mr. Conners was a Corporal iri the United States Marine Corps during World Wrar II.
Survivors include his son, Larry Conners and his wife, Beverly of Woodville: two brothers. Andrew Conners of Brookneal and James Vincent Conners of Gretna; two granddaughters, Jennifer ConnersWilliams of Sperryville and Bethany Kay Conners of Woodville and a great-grandson, Austin Bray Williams.
