The Blue Ridge Civil War Round Table serves Rappahannock, Madison. Culpeper, Warren and Page Counties. We have monthly meetings at the Old Sperryville Book Shop. Upcoming speakers will discuss the defensive system of forts around Washington, D.C., the Battle of Front Royal and local campaigns in our area. We are also sponsoring a bus trip to sites of Civil War history in Rappahannock and Warren Counties on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We hope high school students will join us for our Mosby history party this Tuesday, May 21 from 7:30 to 9 p.m., that college students will come to our interactive lecture series, that families will come to support living history in their community and that everyone else will come tc learn more about the rich historical legacy of our Piedmont region.
