Lt. and Mrs. James S. Willis Jr. and their daughter have returned to this country after spending two years in Formosa where Lt. Willis was on a tour of duty with the U.S. Army. They were met at Friendship Airport near Baltimore by Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Miller of Washington, the parents of Mrs. Willis They will visit here for several weeks before going to Troy, N.Y., the Lieutenant’s next assignment.

Mrs. John Cargill of Washington entertained at a theater party Thursday in Front Royal. She was assisted by Mrs. T.C. Lea Jr. Guests attending the film, "Pinocchio” were Bill Snead, Cil Davis, Nancy, Jay and Billy Cargill and Cary Carr.

Boy Scout Troop #‘16 of Flint Hill will sponsor a Magic Show on May 19 at the Flint Hill fire hall. Admission is 50 cents and all proceeds will go toward sending scouts to Camp Rock Enon for a week.

Rappahannock 4-H members continued 'their habit of sweeping the Nortln rn Virginia Lamb Show and Sale with entries at Winchester on May 14 The Updike brothers, Lyle and Francis exhibited the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion in both the singles and pen-of-three classes. Rappahannock’s club members, Francis Updike, Lyle Updike, Anna Sites, Netus Dodson and Bill Sisk, exhibited 16 lambs all grading prime.
