ject answered Meredith’s question and Ms. Marshall's objectives on a local level, when one thousand Rappahannock County children made that Singing Tree mural together, and it had its debut at last year's May Fest at the high school.

Since then. both the Singing Tree concept and the original sixteen foot mural have "grown legs" and traveled. The mural was accepted for display last November in the New York offices of the U. S. Four more Singing Tree murals have been painted by inner city and suburban high school students in Pittsburgh.
