• Closing ceremonies at 8 a.iq. where the teams that met their fund raising goals as well as those top fund-raising teams, will be recognized.
Jeff Light and Ben Atkins, the Relay for Life Coordinator, will be the Masters of Ceremonies for the event.
Final arrangements are now underway. The many teams are completing their fund raising and readying themselves for the Relay, entertainment and camping out. They are also busy preparing food under the direction of Bev Atkins, the Picnic Chair. Others are busy making certain that all of the details are in place to assure a safe and enjoyable Relay.
Safety rules require that a responsible adult supervise children under 18. Access on the school grounds will be limited to specific areas and all participants will be given maps of the permitted areas. Because the committee was concerned about safety, rollerblading and skating will not be permitted this year.
All participants or their parents or legal guardians for children under 18 must be registered and have signed waivers. The waivers release the Relay’s organizers from claims arising from participation in the
