Spring sports moved toward the last week of district competition. The excitement of Bull Run District Tournament action remains the goal for all the teams over the next week.
The District tournaments for baseball, softball and soccer commence on Tuesday, May 21 with quarter final action. The semifinals and finals will be played out on Thursday and Friday of that week, May 23 and 24 at the appropriate school location.
Rappahannock County High School will host the Bull Run District Softball Tournament for the first time ever. The track teams will be the first into the crucible when the District Track Championships are held on Wednesday, May 15 at Brentsville High School’s track.
In the meantime, this week in sports had plenty of “firsts” for Rapp teams and athletes.
