Students in seven through twelfth grade rounded out the weekend with a “Coffee House” on Saturday from 8 to 10:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Key Club, students gathered at the school for an evening of socializing, complete with good food, music, board games and karaoke.

Richard “Ted” Johanson, son of Dr. Richard and M. Page Johanson of Flint Hill, earned dean’s list honors for the 2004 fall semester at Lynchburg College, a private college in central Virginia enrolling 2,200 students in the professional, liberal arts and sciences, and graduate studies. Johanson, a graduate of Highland School, is a junior management major.
Amber L. Pierce of 10 Locust Lane, Sperryville, Va., was named to the University of Mary Washington’s dean’s list for the 2004 fall semester. Pierce is currently a freshman.
