Gaza, where she was a nurse at the Baptist Hospital during the first four years of her missionary career.
Then she spent five years as a nurse at Baptist Hospital—in Ajloun, Jordan. In 1968 she returned to Gaza and remained there until 1973, when she was transferred to Yemen.
She was a member of the Culpeper Baptist Church, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
She is survived by three brothers and sisters, Ruby E. Dwyer and David M. Dwyer Jr. both of Sperryville and Rebecca D. Shade and her husband, Ray of Culpeper, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sally D. Keyser.
A fimeral service was held March 6, at Culpeper Baptist Church with Dr. Ted Fuson officiating. Interment was followed in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
