In 1968, when Dave Whittaker attended school in California he had the opportunity to tour some of the top wineries in the country.
Not being much of a wine drinker himself, he mostly enjoyed watching the people who came into the wineries.
“I noticed they walked in happy and smiling and walked back out smiling even more and even happier than when they arrived,” said Whittaker. “I said to myself that when I was old, that is what I wanted to do, bring happiness to people.”
