The most dangerous situation in my opinion, is the fatigue factor. Snow plows operate in lower gears as they push the snow. The steady pitch of the engine and the monotony of driving 30 milesan-hour for hours will make the operator very sleepy at the wheel.
Lee Whorton, who drove for my father for many years, told me once that to Siod off” while pushing snow is a most terrifying situation. He told me that “when you jerked your head back from nodding, the sight of blowing snow and that split second of not knowing what's going on, would scare you to stay awake for the rest of the night.”

William Printz is still recovering at home, having recently suffered a setback with his health. Mrs. Pat Ashley has been in the Fauquier Hospital for over a week. She is very ill and we encourage everyone to pray for her.
