Mello said that they are usually able to work through most conflicts and there have only been a few students who have not been able to take all the classes they desired.
School Board member Rosa Crocker said. “I appreciate how difficult scheduling is and I am pleased the school is planning to get them out early.”

Chappell reported on the Strategic Plan updates during which he reiterated his commitment to the school’s staff, saying, “our people come before our buildings.” He also informed the board on the implementation of the Cambridge program, saying payments would soon have to be made for. teacher training as well as a Cambridge center fee.
“This program is not just for honors students, it’s for just about everyone,” said Chappell who emphasized how beneficial, he thought the program would be for students.
Many were present for public comment and Bob Lander of the Stonewall/ Hampton district took the stand first. He came on behalf of the Scrabble School Foundation, an organization dedicated to preserving the Scrabble School for its historic value. Lander stated the group wanted people to acknowledge and help what they (the Foundation) are doing. “We are a grassroots organization putting this school back together,” said Lander.
Lori Dore of Jackson district spoke in favor of the school’s Curriculum Enrichment Program, saying colleges are looking for well-rounded students. Robyn Jeanniton from Hampton district also wanted the board to give extra thought to
