EROSION AND SEDIMENT
CONTROL INSPECTOR
Full-time position in the Engineering Division of Building and Development. This is a field position working with developers and contractors to implement tiled quality control, code enforcement and engineering plan review functions in support of the County's erosion and sediment control program. Requires ability to review construction plans, profiles and site plans. Must he able to develop and maintain effective working relationships and be able to communicate ideas clearly, concisely and effectively. Experience with Virginia erosion and sediment control practices and regulations desired. High School diploma and four years of field experience related to erosion and sediment control. Must have or obtain Certification as Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector within two years of employment. Valid driver's license and driving record check required.
