• The Masters Division is for racers age 10-17 years old and is usually driven by the more experienced drivers. Masters kits can accommodate a child up to (approx.) 6’0” tall and 160 lbs. Because of the lay-down (enclosed) design of the car, smaller drivers are also competitive in this division. The “Scottie” Masters Car is a kit including all parts needed for racing with the exception of the Z-Glaz wheels, racing helmet and “added” weights. Considerably more time is needed to assemble the Masters kit than the other models. The Masters kit can be purchased for $647.50, plus shipping and handling.
Getting prepared
The first of several Car Clinics is scheduled for Saturday, March 19th, at Rosson & Troilo Motor Co, located at 18327 Brandy Rd from 1:00 PM til 4:00 PM. Clinics are intended to help drivers with car construction and safety issues pertaining to their car.
Drivers are encouraged to attend the clinic with their pit crew and bring their cars.
A practice event is scheduled for Sunday, June 12th at the Culpeper County High School.
