Grammy award winning musicians Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer open the new season at the Theatre at Washington, Virginia, with a concert on Saturday, January 14 at 8 p.m.
The concert is called “A Little of This and a Little of That,” reflecting the many faceted program which will include folk, bluegrass, old-time, country, and swing. The range of Cathy and Marcys musical styles is matched by the range of instruments. They play five-string banjo, acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, pennywhistle, hammered dulcimer, percussion - and they sing, solo and in beautiful harmony.
