Hearthstone Lantern Walk. The walk is always held near the Winter Solstice (December 21), which marks the longest night of the year and also the night when the sun begins its slow return and the days begin to lengthen. The students made handmade lanterns to carry, and songs of light were sung for employees at Sunnyside Farms Market and the Inn at Little Washington, as well as for individuals in “Big-People -Time. Out” at the County Jail, and several private homes.
