PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
THE RRCSB-AAA, Culpeper, Virginia, provides transportation services for the elderly and disabled within Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock. These services transport individuals to and from rehabilitation programs, outpatient services, meal programs and other services operated by the RRCSBAAA and private providers. Funds are being requested from the Commonwealth of Virginia to purchase additional transportation vehicles to enhance service access for seniors and individuals with disabilities. We invite any interested public or private transit or paratransit operator within the Planning District 9 area t comment on the proposed services by sending a written notice by January 27, 2006 to Mr. Neil Sherman, Department of Rail and Public Transportation, PO Box 590, Richmond, Virginia 23219-0590 and to the Attention of Executive Director, RRCSB-AAA, PO 1568, Culpeper, Virginia 22701. Comments can also be made at the public hearing planned for January 24, 2006 at 9:30 a.m.. at the main office of the RRCSB-AAA, 15631 Bradford Road, Culpeper, Virginia. A copy of the application is available for inspection at 15361 Bradford Road, Culpeper, Virginia. Comments made at the public hearing and submitted in writing will become part of the application.
