Our View „
2005 Citizen
of the year
Rappahannock County is blessed with not only
scenic wealth but a bounty of generous spirits
and good hearts who contribute to the community in many ways.
Once again, the field of nominees represented a cross section of the community but the choice was clear.
This year’s selection as the 2005 Citizen of the Year goes to Wendy Weinberg.
The Theatre in Little Washington has brought not only an active cultural life to the county but provided a venue for many local groups and organizations to have a place to hold their functions.
The Theatre, under Wendy’s ownership, has energized audiences for 15 years and introduced many a young person to the delights that a musical or theatrical performance can provide.
Wendy, we salute you for breathing life into this county with your gift of a place to celebrate the creative spirit and for your untiring efforts to continue bringing the very best to Rappahannock County.
