Day School’s Key
Club active during the Christmas Season
Throughout December, Wakefield Country Day School’s Key Club were particularly active, working to help make Christmas a little brighter for those less fortunate. Early in the month, the students collected toys to assist St. Peter’s Catholic Church in its efforts to provide Christmas presents for children in a Mississippi parish devastated by Hurricane Katrina. The Key Club hosted a special “Soup for Supper” event at the school preceding the annual Christmas concert. Students made a variety of delicious soups and then served them up to parents and students, with the profits being donated to a local soup kitchen for the holidays.
