In all seriousness, the resolution, or lack thereof, of title disputes, compensation for land taken under eminent domain, and the injustices associated with formation of the Shenandoah National Park are complex issues and will be the subject of future articles. These matters are a fundamental concern to many of the old-timers and should be clearly understood by those of us who only qualify as recent come-heres. This community needs and will need the collective wisdom, experience, and mutual sensitivity of us all! Appreciation of how the problems of the past can influence the present and the future can hopefully add to our strength in the years ahead.
