Camerata Cantores to Perform
‘How Can I Keep from Singing9

Camerata Cantores, under the direction of Helen Dill, will perform “How Can I Keep from Singing” at 8:00pm on Friday, June 9 at The Theatre in Little Washington. One of the group’s final two performances, this concert will feature many favorites from previous concerts over the years.
The following day, Saturday, June 10, the group will sing at a special Candlelight Service at 8:00pm at Bruton Parish in Williamsburg.
While music of the Renaissance makes up a large portion of its repertoire, the group sings madrigals, motets, international folk songs, spirituals, Broadway show tunes, and compositions written by living composers of all nationalities. When attending a Camerata Cantores performance, one can expect to travel the world on a musical journey spanning centuries.
Brass Classique, directed by Richard Dill, shares these concerts and will enhance the program with a variety of musical styles including classical and jazz.
Tickets are $15. and will be available at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased at g. whillikers in Warrenton.
Camerata Cantores will be dissolved at the conclusion of the June 10 concert. Be sure not to miss these final concerts which will feature a number of old favorites from the past twelve years of the group’s performances in Warrenton and surrounding communities.
