Three generations of Kellerts cut the ribbon on the new tasting room with the assistance of Delegate Gilbert, Senator Obenshain and .Gordon and Anita Murchie. The ceremony was followed by a reception and tours of the new facility.
The Kellert family, residents of Rappahannock County for 20 years, started the vineyards in 1986 and opened the winery in July of 1994. A1 and Cheryl were delighted to have friends, neighbors and customers attend and share in such a special event and would like to thank all for their support.
Gray Ghost Winery is located at 14706 Lee Highway in Amissville and can be contacted at 540-937-4869. The tasting room is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
